La biologia dell’essere: Piccole differenze per differenti identità.
“YOU SEE ME”
The biology of being: Small differences for different identities.
When the picture is too real, too daily, it is not interesting. When it is pure fiction, it is not credible. And 'the "space" between these two boundaries that I have tried.
The portrait is a representation of a person according to his real features but it is also important to try to bring out the non-visible, the soul, the self, the uniqueness of who is represented.
In this project, the eye sees what it knows, identifies the faces, real but distorted.
Intrigued deepens and then you realize that they are juxtaposed faces, portraits decomposed
that highlight the game of genetics, the details that make the difference and make each individual unique in appearance and being.
To see the essence, to understand, we must look beyond the apparent, beyond the image, beyond the six faces that gather our attention.
So then the center of the portrait becomes the space, white. A mental space, potential identity that is placed between the two halves of the same face and leaves space to left and right to accommodate the role play and likeness.
Do you see me?
