Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as they say. I see beautiful grit! The life story behind those soulful eyes must have been full of love and joy. Those do not seem to be scowl lines across his forehead, but lines pressed out of life's wonderment or that moment of surprise, again? I've always had a passion for elderly faces and hands, ancient trees and very old buildings! A honorable and meaningful chronology of aging, more than a photograph, its a historical portrait.
