Anna Russo expresses a simple and trenchant language by means of a nearly pure colour extending on the pictorial surface, supported by another similar chromatic tonality, and spreading on the whole space.
It expresses a scratching “cry”, sprung from the heart-felt depth to concentrate your attention and develops lengthening ramifying throughout rivulets and ripple. You can hear an overhanging silence, expanding in a painful way and growing longer in the overflowing with warm colours, which traces out anxious signs. They transfer the philosophical references from the artist’s psychic world to the concrete matter in a dialogue about life.
