Using a photo as a starting point (in this case a photo taken in
Berlin), my intention was to recreate the same effect that the signal
ERROR provokes on TV digital images. Below the reception threshold, the
image gets fragmented and loses its original shape. Taking this idea to
its extreme leads to a new unconventional image where pixels rebel
against the dictatorship of digital perfection. All the information
inside the original photo remains, strictly speaking no destruction was
done but a transformation occurred, a reorder of the formal attributes
which makes the content hard to be accessed.
