The Pacific Series, 36" X 48" (2012 – 2013), plaster, oil on canvas paintings, are based on my travels to the Point Lobos State Natural Reserve in Carmel, California. Called “the greatest meeting of land and water in the world” powerful forces of nature, raging sea against rock, beach deposits, land slides, quartz dikes, kelp and vein filled fissures converge in this magical landscape.
