Love Story

This is a series of paintings about homosexuality. All these works were made thanks to a photos archive from the 1850' to 1950'. Some couples may be gay, others assuredly not, but whatever what remains constant is the expression of affection and love between these men. From the book "Sex between men before homosexuality" by Ned Katz: In a world before "gay" and "straight" referred to sexuality homosexual couple created new ways to name and conceive of their erotic relationships with other men.
