Mercato

The "Market" is a collage of aluminum plates where each slab exists and operates as a separate entity, creating an abstract composition with a look to the figurative. The whole composition has its own unit, carrying the theme of a "market", built around alternating internal and external images of the market, monochrome and polychrome, painted and unpainted areas with different degrees of gloss and grit. The aluminum is therefore, not a background but as a compositional element in its specific brightness.
