Gabriel's Message

The opera tells through a strong realism, the sacred theme of the evangelical message by subtracting the traditional iconology of the Annunciation, the meeting, i.e. "the appearance", which in this case is hiring a new intimate nature; Gabriel appears to whoever looks at him.
Therefore the fruition of the artwork changes in its reading. The theme unfolds not within the work but rather try to interact with the viewer. The angel surprises us and gives us a message, in a time where the sacredness is devoid of any intrinsic meaning, the liturgy of daily life, alienating, and myths of contemporary society erase any possibility of reflection. Gabriel's eyes force us to a responsibility, the one of tomorrow : to re-establish humanity, where the individual goes back to hear the breath of life.
