What man honors
Storm my soul
turbulence of a sky
yellowed by time
parchment found
in a golden casket
the way written in Sanskrit
destiny of man
troubled
from infinity to go
of disputes and offenses
land that has absorbed blood
avi pierced
madrigals and vocal chords screaming
rules and convictions
judges and judgments
be delayed deaths
in unjust causes
or right mercies
impregnated time
into the abyss of lost persons
cadence of a present
in the rhythm of rain
thunderous
sprinkled incense to purify
and sun rays to illuminate
only one that does not hurt
and that man honors
Maristella Angeli
