Cold forest

I went in the world because I wished to live deliberately, to address only the essential facts of life, and to see if I was not able to learn what it had to teach, and not to discover, on his deathbed, that I had not lived.
I did not want to live what was not life, unless it was absolutely necessary. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of it, live mighty, spartan, so as to destroy all that was not life.
