"La cacciata dei progenitori", along with eight other tables, is part of an unique project born about a year ago and recently brought to term called "Preludio Biblico." This arises from the need and the desire to want to give new interpretation, with a focus on what is the theme of the body and scientific catalogation, nine pass selected by myself features from the pages of the Pentateuch inside the Old Testament trying to recreate a new symbology.

La cacciata dei progenitori:

Two chests, two shapes, a nervous system, a circulatory one. A man, a woman, Adam, Eve, any man and any woman at any time in history, maybe the present, maybe the past, possibly even future. Some cobwebs, two cages, one heart, two birds, flowers, a snake, an apple: one story.
The Expulsion from the Garden of Eden: the emblem of symbolic point of view of the whole Bible, allegorical paradigm for our entire culture, important fact that marks a critical step in turning the entire human history of Western culture told in the book: the disobedience to God by the first man and the first woman.
But who are this first man and this first woman if not two human beings moved by curiosity and earthly needs? What are they hiding under their flesh if not the organic structure common to any man and any woman?
My idea wants to be the simple reading of a life condition imposed and asphyxiating in which there is no choice: the story of two human beings moved by any passions and earthly desires, forced to live in captivity and unable to choose between good or evil, bound in a place where there is no free will and unconsciousness and the total unawareness become the main protagonist, in a place where there is no sense of time and therefore never exist time for growth, living in a constant state of eternal adolescence in which sin, knowledge, and growth coincide: this disobedience will condemn them to eternal punishment.
Adam and Eve, as human being, have supported their curiositas, their need of knowledge.
The concept that emerge is made universal by their story, but it could be widely extended, considering that the human being is a social animal and capable of opposing the constraints imposed to put themselves in a state of total knowledge , going so beyond the boundaries of the known world, beyond the Pillars of Hercules ...
