The outpost dream

Strong suggestion of the "lookout" that Vincenzo Pennacchi placed on the opposite side of the small pier Fogliano, on a deserted shore of the lake. Is the same vegetation, evocatively exotic, suggesting the visitor a different reading of the light poles on the house, reached through a small scale, and low construction, placed on the ground, sideways……. No less interesting is the visual language of not only his metaphorical eyes, look like dreams, like exotic escape beyond the shore, as the image of a reality lost and recovered through the eyes of children, but also as structure of materials and colors as the surface of informal. Looking color, after all, the artist dedicated himself for many years a very specific area in his laboratory: a search for similarities as well, almost primitive relations between form and color, but also of internal readings, linked to the psyche and imagination.
