This is the project for an installation called A HOOK IN THE SKY. It is constructed with aluminum (ot other material) ladders, piled up at random to reach an overhanging hook, set too high to be actually touched by human hand. More ladders are piled up together, the better.
This installation is at the heart of my boomer novel, A Hook in the Sky, just published on Amazon. It is a symbol of LIFE: every day we climb up, one step at a time, to try and reach a hook - our life goal - which is forever just out of reach...

L'aspetto decisivo qui è l'utilizzo di prodotti industriali: scale di aluminio, gancio industriale...Aggiunge alla forza del simbolo. La nostra vita è chiusa dentro questa nostra società industriale...Come viene spiegato nel romanzo dal protagonista che cerca di impressionare la moglie che ha una grossa galleria d'arte contemporanea a Chelsea...
