Terrore Atomico

Terrore Atomico

Painting, Emotion, Political / Social, Oil, 50x70x2cm
The 60s with the Vietnam War, which lasted fifteen years, and the terrible crisis in Cuba, considered one of the most critical moments of the Cold War that brought us all a step away from a nuclear war have instilled fear in me, to 'irrational beginning for our impotence as men, and then filtered by rationality has led me to the realization of a painting.
"Atomic Terror" awarded gold medal "third place" to the VI National Prize of graphics S. Michele D'oro in 1974 in the city of Genoa.
A human figure dazzled by a light terrifying, helpless, curled in on itself, a fraction of seconds before the end.
A sky of an unreal orange and a chromaticity relevant, made of warm tones and full,
in contrast with the background, dark, with no sign of life in a constant reminder of the guilt of men.
