Naoki is a British/Japanese conceptual artist / painter, born in Tokyo Japan, resides in Germany and Switzerland.

His work often takes a mixed view on social, political and cultural issues in both systematic and as well as poetic ways, inviting the viewer to move into a space of speculation. The media coverage of world affairs is one of his main sources of inspiration. The feeling of modernity is hidden in most of Naoki's works. The objects are placed in the canon of the western culture, in the hope of making visible what might be overlooked in our modern life.

He is currently working on two projects ''Hope is always a good thing'', and ''Before the 7th'', expressing our modern reality. The painting entitled ''Darling, what shall we eat tonight?'' has been received well by many artists and critics. (including Mr Stephen Sackur from BBC)

His works are owned by various private collectors and individuals and commissioned to companies such as Japan's biggest clothing company UNIQLO and has been exhibited at galleries and alternative venues in Japan, Switzerland, Germany, England, France, Austria, Brazil.
