Yes, I am in a state of confusion about these status issues. This has been made yet more confusing by the fact that I am getting very keen to present my work in book form. I am aware that one of the reasons for this might be that the printed book is becoming an archaic object, like a lyric poem or an oil painting. And in this process it is accumulating aura.

Have you managed to eject all concerns about aura? I sense from the look of your work that you have not.

I apologise if the above is too rambling to make sense to you, but it reflects issues I am finding surprisingly relevant to me. Thanks for your patience.

I am also interested to know where the "final" form of your work resides - on a wall, on a screen? I find that I am currently moving between print and projection in my own work - sometimes presenting the two forms alongside each other. But I can't help seeing the computer screen and internet as an interim medium, suitable for mass distribution but not focussed concentration. Is it the old aura issue coming back to haunt me? I find your work fascinating. It has a distinct energy that I find both intriguing and unsettling. I wonder whether this sense of agitation I feel relates to the medium you use - those billions of pulsating pixels racing through your brain, and mine. [Continues]
