Tyrannosaurus Rex and Christ.

This piece brings together two images not normally seen together, the world of religion and myth, and the world of scientific fact. Both are casts from cheap plastic models but both represent strong apparently opposing forces.
Here we seem to have unearthed them together, fossil like.
The 19 Centaury writer and artist John Ruskin spoke of ‘those infernal hammers’ chipping away at his faith referring to the fossil hunters of his day. In this image I wanted (with a little humour) to bring these opposing visions together. Tyrannosaurus Rex and Christ.
