The SG Bunker investigates the politics of safe spaces in the apocalyptic imagination and who is allowed in them. The Bunker offers a rebellious and distinct position on queerness, the spaces it occupies, and survival. The SG bunker twists the biblical story of Sodom and Gomorrah into a science fiction end-of-the-world scenario for the sake of making an offering to those who've suffered violence in and because of that story. How do we survive narratives of destruction? What kind of new space has to be made and what are the consequences of that space? What is lost in the pursuit of survival? The SG Bunker puts forth these questions while searching for the groundwork of a meaning when everything else has been blown to dust.
