Gioberti – Bussana vecchia
Bussana is a small village located on an enchanted rock in the vicinity of Sanremo, in the Ligurian hinterland. A small corner utopian that conceals a unique history: the country was in fact destroyed by an earthquake in 1800 and the signs of the disaster still live on in its ruins are still visible.
The country following the cataclysm was abandoned by its inhabitants and was rebuilt further downstream as the New Bussana.
artwork painted by Gioberti, of property of the Roberta Smedili Association in exposition for the realization of the fifth edition of sorriso di Roberta per l’UNICEF - Project " Fight against maternal and infant mortality in Afghanistan” to be held in Milazzo (ME) 24 to 27 May 2013.
