Visibility Memorials - detail

As my perspectives shift from the vantage point of a motorist to a pedestrian, I witness challenges of navigating every intersection in urban and rural communities.

My work unifies performance and design to illustrate the fragile and fragmented spaces of pedestrian paths. Photo documentation highlights lack of visibility on the cross walk while research of traffic signage informs the creation of memorials to pedestrian casualties. Using design as an expressive form of visual communication, I seek to raise awareness of compromised and limited zones designated for pedestrians.
