Walking inside the silence

Let’s take our town again: this is the emblematic cry in the silence of L’Aquila nowadays.
Culture and town take origin from the ‘deep and ingenuous effort to rebuilt a life’ – an inner and spontaneous human desire.
Now this desire seems to be barred, shaky, in other’s hands and powerless.
A woman’s voice is the voice of the emptiness of buildings, seemingly reduced to facades, to walls without interiors; it is an inner voice which begs to connect the inside with the outside, the origin with the direction, because this connection represents the repossession of the totality of yourself: a dangerous and no entry path, but you have to cover it every day.
