Skin Clock

Skin Clock

Sculpture, Abstract informal, Light, 70x130x50cm
The work takes its starting point from a tiny piece of 'root matter' excavated from the earth. The glass-fibre form echoes the contours of the matter's topography, the projected surface gradually animates creating a morphology of the texture showing an emerging surface reality. The sculpture hovers as an archaeological find, picturing the future of the world as artefact.
