Asymmetry
This series of works explore the duality of the physical and the metaphysical worlds through examining the relationships between geometry and figuration, nature and architecture, the interior and the exterior, as well as perception and illusion of space.
Through superimposing disparate visual references such as architecture, landscape and animal drawings with geometry, I hope to evoke a sense or memory of meditative spaces within the viewer, while exploring the ways in which the geometry can convey the nature of such spaces.
