Birth

This animation explores the first of five stages in life: Birth, Adolescence, Mid Life, Maturity and Death. In looking for a title I settled on the concept of five stages, elements or circuits. Thus, the exhibition is titled 5 Circuit Model of Life. The process of the exhibition and animations began with creating five one-minute animations. This has evolved into almost 15 minutes of animation. This exhibit involves hundreds of hours of sketches and drawings, mixing physical with digital space, sound, motion and interaction. I hope that through close observation of ideas and looking at the surrounding environment I will connect the delicate relationship between nature and the life cycle we each go through.
