The Table Top Series comprises 10 "mini-installations": "Knight, Death & the Devil"

"The Feast of San Ysidro"
"Moby Dick and the Vatican"
"Evolution of a Creationist (With Mutations)"
"Auschwitz Lite"
These works were completed during the period 1993 - 2012.

I like these pieces because they are entirely self-contained and can be easily seen (and hopefully understood) by someone standing just a few feet away. The “toy figures” I frequently employ seem familiar to most viewers, and there is a “child-like” simplicity to most of the environments I create.

But these pieces are all based on an idea, and that idea is often sharp (at times savage). So you have “seemingly friendly” pieces, easy to view or see and understand, that draw the viewer in and then the message is delivered, often with a jolt.

Many of the pieces are also funny, and all (I would hope) would cause thought. They are only “child-like” on an apparent level, not underneath.
