AQVARCANA
AQVARCANA is the crasis of the two Latin words aqva (=water) and arcana ( arcanus, mysterious): a title enclosing in itself the sound of a female echo, an enchanting extreme synthesis of the discussed subject. The pictures in Aqvarcana, infact, tell about the underground world in Bologna,
a secret and remote world run through by channels, where the water create ambiguity and mystery. This effect is increate by
the reflections of the water and by its continuos stream that connects remote places.
Here every glimpse of the ancient and submerged city is field with female figures, portrayed in mystic and surreal attitudes, and dressed in original clothes at last set like precious stones into a primeval environment.
