RWO

This work marks the beginning of a process in which two parallel artistic experiences, the figurative and the materical, find a meeting point, a strange, restless specularity. During this coexistence the two elements becomes one the pathological symptom of the other. The land that slides down and crumbles is reflected in the human face, and its cracks take the form of the disturbing folds of skin, of flesh, of decomposition. It is the waiting of death. The cruel irony of the self-potrait. The representation of an entire species that share the same destiny, to witness the disintegration of body, identity, ego, humanity and of everything that man touches, infects and infests.
