From the research of a subject who was both a flower and a still life, was born this diptych dedicated to the desert rose. A stone flower. The first work is called 'The Butterfly' because, inside the composition, rocks conformations remind butterfly's wings. The second one is called 'The Bud' because the stone has a shape that reminds the bud of a flower.
