Diari in attesa. Nuove geografie urbane
A path of research and experimentation based on the urban geographies which focuses the attention on Milan, at the moment affected by important transformations that concern the heart of the city.
A remark on the Porta Nuova project, recently approved, which involves the areas Garibaldi, Isola and Varesine, areas that are emblematic for the complexity of contemporary city.
A long and controversial matter that goes on for 10 years from now followed by inhabitants, artists, urban planners, the public administration, investors and opinion leaders. A hot issue to analyse thoroughly in this symbolic moment, the opening of a yard. Every day's scenes, memories, opinions, interviews interlace in the pages of a graphic novel, realized with a strip cartoon in which you can find the protagonists and their points of view. A comic-strip story as modern and flexible tool to treat a question, seemed the most appropriate one for a wide-spread distribution of the project. The strip-cartoon were drawn by Daniel Albertelli.
From all the material picked up during the project a video clip “Diari in attesa, a glance at change” has been realized in which the message is diffused in both a more concise and poetic way. The video clip has been filmed by Kika.
