Pyramidshire

A population of about one million people took center stage March 24, 2012 of a false and sensational news reporting. The article, published in the newspaper out on the front page of Basilicata, headline: "Exclusive! San Fele, pyramid under the hill ". This was the implementation of media-art project "Pyramidshire" organized by the office of architecture Vortex_A in collaboration with the most widespread and popular newspaper investigation Quotidiano della Basilicata about a decade ago repeatedly put under attack the sanctuaries of the political and economic power of the region. Inspired by the television documentary Forgotten Silver by Peter Jackson, "Pyramidshire" surprised by the arc of an entire morning the whole Basilicata. Two inside pages of the newspaper reported, and photorealistic architectural details of the pyramid (discovered by archaeologists at Cornell University) by stating the precise location in the small town of three thousand inhabitants unexpectedly found himself the focus of the blog and regional media.
