MOVING WOODCUTS
"Moving woodcuts" is intended to build links among a group of people, who generally do not previously know each other; who happen to be united in a particular activity within a limited period of time, using woodcut as a medium.
This project was started the second week of my residency at the Vermont Studio Center (February 27 - April 22, 2011) and completed 4 weeks later. The main subjects are the residents I met within a month of creative activity on campus atVSC, Johnson, VT. I was attracted to capture the circumstances in the form works of woodcut print on paper and fabric, photos and videos.
